The prerequisites are compliance with recognized professional standards within the meaning of Section 630a of the German Civil Code (BGB) (taking into account scientific findings, medical experience that is necessary to achieve the medical treatment goal and has proven itself in testing) and the determination that, depending on the clinical picture, no personal contact between doctor and patient is required.

For which illnesses can you get cannabis on prescription?

Treatment with medical cannabis is not limited to specific diseases . Cannabinoids are prescribed for physical and mental illnesses and as an alternative or supplement to other medications.

Doctors must assess on a case-by-case basis whether cannabis therapy is a suitable alternative treatment for you.

How much does 1g of cannabis cost in the pharmacy?

The cost of cannabis from the pharmacy can vary greatly and depends on various factors, in particular on which preparation the doctor prescribes. Possible influencing factors are the manufacturer, the THC and CBD content and other properties of the product. The price of cannabis flowers is usually between 5 and 15 euros per gram.
